    Next chinos. Loads of different fits. £22. There is no need to spend 3 figure sums to get decent chinos. If you’re wearing them on a bike, you’re not covering TdF stage distances so the Next ones are fine.

    I think you should add a criteria: reinforcement to the bum/croch.

    This is my biggest problem with cycling to work each day in trousers. They all wear out too quickly in the croch

    I’d love to know the material composition/fabrication to ease up the search for best cycling pants in different countries. I frequently travel to different countries with stays lasting from a couple of weeks to a few months and take my bicycle along. But the problem is finding the right cycling clothing in countries when I don’t have room to carry my best clothing items.
