Bought this jacket on the strength of your review, seems very well made, it was a lot of money but my other jackets, ranging from a cheapie from Millets to an Altura rain jacket costing £100 did not last more than 2 years before developing problems, seams coming apart and stuff like that and just not that waterproof.

The hood is of little use though, emergency use is about right, but it’s discrete enough to forget about.

Not sure about the drab green colour but I’m sure it will grow on me,

Size wise I went for medium and the jacket has a generous cut, plenty of room for ‘layering up’ in the depths of winter.

Only downside is the pockets with flaps are quite small, but on the other hand the internal one is great for wallet, camera and phone.

I just hope it doesn’t fall apart in a couple of years!

              • Hi Patrick,
Thanks for your comment, glad you seem to like the jacket so far. I’ve been using the jacket for about nine months now and it’s still going strong, although I also hope – and think – it should provide a good few years wear.
                Happy cycling,
                Pete
