#rideinstyle Guide: 6 Commuter Essentials for Cycling in September

It’s official. Summer’s over kids, go home.

But all is not lost. September is actually one of my favourite times of the year. The weather is (usually) pretty good, the days are still nice and the craziness of the summer holidays has past.

It’s also a great time to cycle – whether that be out exploring the country or riding your bike to work.

September is the time of year where you’ve probably slipped back into trousers, but you might be able to get away with just a tee or shirt during the day, with maybe a lightweight jacket to provide some extra warmth (and potentially rain protection) in the cooler hours.
