You might also want to look at the Carradice Barley, which has similar construction, shoulder strap available and holds 9 litres for £20 less

I like my Carradice Barley a lot, but this back seems to have extra attention to detail.

The handle, bobbles that the leather straps attach on to, a long flap (yes there are longflap carradices), and better styling (the leather looks nicer) and a metal loop that the drawcord passes through instead of a plastic one.

I think if I was going to buy a new saddle bag, it’d be this over the Carradice.

Plus one for the Carradice. Handmade in Lancashire, England for the last 85 years+ . Not sure where Cardiff bags are made but I will bet that they are made in China and no where near Wales.

It is an excellent bag, and I have gifted to 5 of my students. It will be great when you do cycling. The compact design of the bag will fit cycles and does not fall when you ride on the hard road.
