Endura’s “Zyme” short has a really good material (in terms of being comfortable to ride in, and looking decent off the bike) – the problem with that is that it seems to hold more water than the more “sporty” Humvee fabric.

If you do get caught in a downpour, the Humvee dries quicker, and is more comfortable – I wonder if the same kind of trade off is happening with the Vulpine fabric, maybe?

            2. Hi Neil,
Sadly that pair do seem to have slipped through the QC net. It does hapen very occasionally but it makes my blood run cold! I haven’t seen ones with problems like that before and its certainly not normal or acceptable.
Just send them back to us and we’ll swap for a proper pair!
Thanks for the great review otherwise.
              Nick.

Nice review – when the weather warms up these are definitely on my “wish list”. I’ve bought several items from Vulpine and the quality has been spot-on apart from some loose stitching on a T-shirt. I emailed them and had a replacement in my hand within 48 hours. ’nuff said.
              If Carlsberg made clothing companies…
